The sushi here is fantastic. Wait staff is very personable. You can see the passion the Chef Jason has for his craft in sushi. Christian has gone above and beyond for my family and I to make sure our experience is always wonderful.

I learned about Chef Jason Morimoto from Chef Masaharu Morimoto's Sushi Master, and I have always been curious about Chef Jason’s flavor combinations since the judges on the show constantly made comments about how they’ve never tasted anything like his dishes before. It’s really fortunate that Screaming Tuna Mequon started offering Chef Jason’s omakase “Weekend at J’s” on my birthday week and it felt like the right occasion to try his Sushi Master title winning food. He definitely didn’t disappoint. Each of the 14 courses was a thoughtful exploration of taste, texture, and presentation, curated by a chef whose precision and creativity shone through every bite. Chef Jason shared stories about each course and brought the ingredients to life, his passion for his craft evident in every precise cut and thoughtful pairing. With the intimate setting, every dish felt like a conversation with the chef, revealing not just skill but a deep respect for ingredients and tradition, with just enough innovation to keep things exciting. This omakase was a masterpiece, and I’m excited to see what Chef Jason will craft next time.

This place is good!! Sushi not your thing that’s ok they have ramen and other restaurants nearby in the public market they are located inside... so you can get your kids or picky pals some pizza or tacos at a neighbor restaurant and still enjoy a nice family meal. Definitely would love to visit again.

I see someone said they don’t have cocktails but they do. It was very impressive. I highly recommend coming for lunch. The place is set up very nicely. The lunch special was wonderful with two people because you then have a variety of sushi to try if you each get it. I love miso soup and it was great. I would come back to try ramen next time. The prices are great; the place is clean; the service is great.

Went to Screaming Tuna Mequon for our anniversary. The food, service, and atmosphere was great! We had the spring rolls, salted edamame, and the rock king crab roll...all were fantastic!

Went for lunch. Group ordered the spring rolls as an appetizer. Loved the peanut sauce that came with them. Shared the sesame chicken roll, lava monster roll and ninja pig. I don’t eat fish so I was pleasantly surprised at the options available to me, all were delicious. Had the Yakiniku-Don which had a nice flavor. They have a cool take on classic cocktails.

Highly recommend! I have visited the Mequon location multiple times and they provide great customer service. Relaxing and friendly environment with quality and creative sushi rolls to appease everyone’s palate. Vegan and gluten free options. Delicious drinks! You won’t regret paying a visit to this attentive, talented and kind team!
